1.Q: What's the difference between THHN and THWN-2?
A: THHN is rated for dry locations (90°C) while THWN-2 can be used
in both wet and dry locations (90°C wet/75°C dry). THWN-2 has
additional water resistance properties.
2.Q: Can THHN/THWN-2 cable be used outdoors?
A: Yes, but only the THWN-2 rated version can be used outdoors or
in wet locations when properly installed in conduit. THHN alone is
not suitable for outdoor use.
